The Cutting Garden Cafe, tucked just off the M42 in Jubilee Business Park, offers a quietly charming spot that feels both welcoming and thoughtfully curated. More than just a pit-stop, it’s an inviting place for anyone seeking a relaxed, friendly atmosphere paired with solid coffee and carefully prepared food.

Breakfast here leans into simple, satisfying fare served on sourdough toast, with options like avocado toast and sausage rolls that underscore the café’s focus on wholesome, fresh ingredients. The presence of a resident florist adds a unique texture to the environment — fresh flowers are arranged on-site, lending a vibrant, natural aroma that complements the cosy interior.

Visitors often highlight the café’s calming vibe, which makes it ideal for everything from a quick coffee break during a bike ride (there’s a convenient bike stand out front) to a leisurely weekend catch-up over slices of carrot cake or a rich chocolate brownie. Families, local workers, and travellers passing through the area all seem to find something to settle into here.

Inside, the atmosphere is calm but lively enough to feel comfortable and social without being noisy. This setting, combined with the friendly and attentive staff, creates a welcoming space that’s particularly well suited to mornings and early afternoons. Those making a brief stop off the motorway or locals seeking a regular spot for casual meetings or a bit of fresh air won’t be disappointed.

The Cutting Garden Café also nudges itself slightly beyond the typical café experience by offering touches of creative charm, like seasonal decorations and a small array of cards for sale, which remove any sense of it being just another chain-like stop and instead make it feel part of the local fabric.

THE most delicious breakfast EVER all on sour dough toast. Complemented by a wonderful welcome, warm family friendly atmosphere and good pricing. The cakes looked delicious too alongside a few bits bobs of cards and Christmas decorations to complete the atmosphere! It is also less than five minutes from the M42. Highly recommend!

The Cutting Garden Café is a charming place to relax and enjoy great food and drinks. Their coffee is excellent, and the cakes are simply amazing – fresh, rich in flavour, and beautifully presented. The staff are warm, welcoming, and ready with a smile, adding to the café’s friendly atmosphere. It’s also very convenient, with a bike stand right outside for cyclists, plenty of parking for those driving, and the choice of cosy indoor seating or a peaceful outdoor area surrounded by greenery. A perfect spot for a casual stop, meeting friends, or taking a break on a day out.

Beautiful! Perfect spot less than 5 minutes from motorway, unique creative and comfortable setting, amazing wholesome food, friendly staff who added a candle to our piece of cake when they heard it was our birthday, and gorgeous fresh flowers being made into bouquets before our eyes. Would definitely come here again! Xx

Really wonderful find! Best Brie, Bacon and cranberry on sourdough I’ve had, followed by fabulous cake washed down with a superb Latte. Lovely staff, excellent service and as there’s a resident florist the beautiful smell of fresh flowers, you really could not ask for more!

Came here during our cycling ride. Was such a charming spot — the kind of place you instantly feel relaxed in. Surrounded by lovely farm views, it’s perfect for a peaceful coffee break or a leisurely lunch. The food is fresh & delicious with great options for both light bites and heartier meals. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Whether you sit inside in the cosy café or outside enjoying the greenery, it’s a little a great spot to come to.

Popped in on the way to Leeds, just 5 minutes from the M42, for some takeaway lunch. What a lovely cafe. Good selection of sandwiches, jackets pota toes, sausage rolls etc plus lots of lovely cakes. Also they had some beautiful cut and potted flowers, at some really reasonable prices. Plenty of outside spaces and lots of ice creams for the hot weather as well! The team were lovely, really friendly and helpful. Food came quickly and was put in a bag for us. Love the fact they take your name and use it, a really nice personal touch.

Fantastic little cafe ????????. I cycled over to judge for myself the service and cake portion size, as always I read between the lines of the whinging reviews. Small businesses trying to make a living and to please the general public must be hard at times. I can safely say the service was more than satisfactory , friendly staff ,cake portion size was very generous , the coffee was amazing and prepared freshly, It’s was an amazing shopper experience, and felt value for money , If you want fast food and coffee that is full of crap and you’re just a number and not a customer, I would suggest you go to a franchise shop . Personally I enjoy my time going to independent little coffee shops . I can safely say I had a great experience
